Water infrastructure for communities, farms and institutions
From boreholes and pumping systems to treatment and irrigation — we design, build and maintain the water infrastructure South Sudan needs.
Engaging directly with South Sudan’s water sector
A1 Development Limited is a South Sudan-based development and engineering company combining local presence with international engineering, procurement, construction and project-management expertise in water resources, water supply and irrigation infrastructure.
In July 2026, we formally expressed our interest to the Ministry of Water Resources & Irrigation in participating in current and upcoming tenders, expressions of interest, requests for quotation and prequalification procedures — directly, or with qualified specialist partners according to each project’s scope.
“We are committed to South Sudanese laws and procurement procedures, applicable technical standards, environmental and social requirements, and occupational health and safety obligations — and to promoting local employment, knowledge transfer and the participation of South Sudanese suppliers and subcontractors.”

Where water meets energy
Our water and solar divisions work hand in hand: solar-powered pumping systems reduce running costs and keep boreholes and irrigation systems operating reliably, even in areas without stable grid power — a practical fit for South Sudan’s conditions.
